Cacao Smoothie


Cacao Smoothie topped with banana

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Kokoleka Cacao of choice

  • 1 ½ frozen bananas (or 2 depending on the size)

  • 8 almonds (or nuts of choice)

  • 1 ½ tbs peanut butter or nut butter of choice

  • 4 tbs oatmeal (or 6, depending on the preferred thickness)

  • 1 pear or apple (green, yellow or red)

  • 2 oz hot water

  • 10 oz cold water (or up to 16 oz, depending on the preferred thickness)

  • 2 tbs Maca or other preferred superfood - Optional


Instructions

  1. Heat 2 oz of water to a near boil.

  2. Once the water is warm enough, put it in the blender with your Cacao, and blend for 15 seconds.

  3. Add the nuts, peanut butter, oatmeal and superfoods, if you are using any, to the blender and blend for a further 30 seconds.

  4. Add the pear/apple, the frozen bananas, and cold water to the mix. Blend for 2 minutes more.

  5. Serve and enjoy your Cacao Bliss Smoothie!
