Sweet, aromatic and slightly bitter. Antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergenic, antiseptic, antifungal, carminative.
Everyone’s heard of this tasty yellow herb, and for good reasons. It is sometimes found in blends for sleep, nightmares, headaches, anxiety, depression, and to calm children down, because of its supposed ability to calm the nervous system. Traditionally it has also been used for menstrual pains, to stimulate digestion, and help with indigestion.
Note: The longer you steep these flowers, the more bitter the tea will taste.
