Cat’s claw has been highly regarded in the Amazon. It has traditionally been used as an immune tonic, both as an immune builder and to regulate overactive cytokines. It has also been used in the past to help with getting over colds and flus. Cat’s Claw is thought to help clear out the digestive tract, and help with Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and ulcers. Other traditional uses include fibromyalgia, asthma, cardiovascular diseases, and tumors.
