Yellow dock has traditionally been used to help anemia because it is said to be high in iron, and have the ability to stimulate the system to release iron from iron stores. Another traditional use of yellow dock was as a blood purifier, and commonly added to formulas for skin issues, such as psoriasis, eczema, and acne. It has also been said to help stimulate the liver, digestion, and have a mild laxative effect.
