Spirulina is a nutrient green-blue algae powerhouse. It has one of the highest amounts of protein to weight ratios. Spirulina is considered to have more copper and B vitamins than chlorella. It is also thought to have iodine, vitamin D3 making it a great addition to a vegan’s diet, if they feel deficient in those areas.
