Dried ginger can be a spicy way to warm up your system, or a formula, and is a staple in chai. It is said to help relieve indigestion, nausea, and vomiting as well as stimulate digestion. It seems to stimulate blood flow, and has been often used to relieve menstrual cramps and promote menses. In the past ginger has been used to help inhibit platelet aggregation. It also is said to contain antiviral properties which are potentially useful for flus, colds, and viral gastroenteritis also said to aid in reducing fevers. 

Choose from powdered, or cut and sifted forms.
