Peppermint has been used as a yummy summertime tea to help cool down. It has been also used for indigestion, nausea, vomiting and flatulence. Peppermint is said to have a mild calming effect on the nervous system, and is often found in blends for headaches. It has been a common herb used to break a fever and to treat colds and flus.
